<image:caption>The Walker Lane is an immense area of faulting directly related to San Andreas and the continent-sized forces at play. The Pacific tectonic plate and North American plate are pushing past each other causing immense tension in the earth’s crust. This tension often (in geologic terms) causes the San Andreas to slip with massive earthquakes. This tension is also released in the sub-faulting along the Walker Lane through a series of much smaller earthquakes.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The BLM Navigator is a great tool when it comes down to defining exact locations of prospective targets. This is useful for writing up claim notices as well, where you can determine the Township, Range and Section of the area you are staking. For this example, let’s say you want to stake a target east of Beatty. We know this is Section 1, Township 12S, Range 47E, Mount Diablo Meridian.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Bullfrog district is a rich system and host to Carlin-type, low-sulphidation and high-sulphidation deposits. The USGS hydrothermal alteration map shows the phyllic and argilic alteration from several of the Bullfrog district’s deposits. Gray shaded areas are listed as hydrothermal silica-rich rocks which, in most cases, will be epithermal cap rock indicative of Intermediate-sulphidation and high-sulphidation systems. A target-rich area like this deserves a good once-over, although most of the district is now staked and being explored by major mining companies.</image:caption>

To know for sure where the claims are located exactly, a trip to the State BLM office in Reno or to the local field office will yield claim maps and documentation of claim notices or certificates. These filed claim maps are the gold standard of claim location, but the BLM MLRS Reports will get you pretty close.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - About Us</image:title>
<image:caption>“We are in the business of finding what other people miss.” The above quote was our motto when Convergent Mining started out in 2017 as an exploration company focused on the Walker Lane. The brain child of Dan, an exploration geologist, and Ralston Pedersen, a mining engineer, Convergent went on to make several organic discoveries. This combination of engineer and geologist proved excellent in locating deposits and determining project feasibility. While exploration is still a part of our business, we find it just as exciting to help others on their projects. With a deep and practical understanding of mining and exploration, who better to assist others in the Western US, to develop, permit and expand projects, than those who have done it successfully before? This is where Convergent Mining’s consulting, engineering and exploration services stem from. In using Convergent, you have access to a wealth of experience spanning the minerals industry and our dedication to leaving every project better than before. Business Philosophy At Convergent, our foundation is honesty and integrity in the work we do and with our clients. Transparency is key. We take our client’s project success personally and this attention to detail inspires thoughtful and efficient designs. At Convergent, we get the job done right and employee performance is based on project success, not hours billed.</image:caption>
